Proper stocking density (usually 10 to 12 birds per square meter) prevents stress, competition for feed, and mobility problems. Adequate space promotes better growth.

Stress caused by heat, sudden changes in lighting, noise, or movement negatively affects feed intake and weight gain. Creating a calm environment improves growth.

Accurate recording of data such as feed consumption, daily weight, mortality, and housing conditions helps in early problem detection and better decision-making.

The optimal duration for the broiler rearing period varies between 32 to 45 days, depending on the breed, feed, and market goals. Under standard conditions and using fast-growing breeds, reaching a weight of 2.5 kg in 40 days with a feed conversion ratio below 1.7 is considered ideal. Extending the rearing period leads to increased feed consumption, a decline in feed conversion efficiency, and reduced profitability.
